Understanding Your Insurance Benefits
Even if we are in-network with your insurance company, your specific plan may have different acupuncture or naturopathic coverage. As a courtesy, we will verify your benefits, but please note that the information provided by insurance is not a guarantee of coverage.
We understand that insurance can be confusing, and many patients aren’t fully aware of their coverage details. Ultimately, you are responsible for understanding your own benefits.
If you’d like to confirm your coverage before your visit, call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card and ask the following:
✅ Is Hopespring Wellness (Hope Spring Acupuncture) listed as an in-network provider under my specific plan? You can also give them our provider's name.
✅ Do I have acupuncture any benefit?
✅ Are these benefits combined with chiropractic or massage services?
✅ Is there a deductible, and does it apply to these services?
✅ How many visits are covered per year?
✅ Do I have a co-pay or co-insurance per visit?
✅ Is there a separate co-pay or co-insurance for my initial visit (CPT code 99203) in addition to acupuncture?
✅ Do I need pre-authorization for treatment?
✅ Have I met my out-of-pocket maximum for the year?
📌 Pro Tip: Always ask for a reference number and the representative’s name for your records.
Out-of-Network & Cash Payment Options
Here's a good news for you If we are not in-network with your insurance, you may still be able to receive partial reimbursement for your visits through your out-of-network benefits. Call the number on your insurance card to check if your plan offers out-of-network coverage.
For those without insurance coverage, or those who prefer not to use insurance, we offer discounted cash rates for Medicare/Medicaid patients and self-pay visits. Discounted rates apply only when a treatment plan is agreed upon in person and payment is made on the same day of service or though a payment plan. A valid ID is required for all treatments.
We’re here to support you in making informed healthcare decisions—please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
